Now’s the time to register for the winter sessions of Storytime & Toddletime! Storytime is for children ages 3 – 6 while Toddletime is for 18 – 36 month old children. The next meeting of the Brown Baggers discussion group will be at 12 Noon on February 8. The group will be discussing Dreams of My Father by Barack Obama. This is the Kansas Reads book for 2010. Anyone interested in joining this discussion can obtain a book by calling either Carol or Cecilia at the library.

On Saturday, February 27, at 10:30 a.m. David Nichols will present a program at the library over the book Dreams from My Father by Barack Obama. The book has been named the Kansas Reads selection for 2010 by the Kansas State Library.
Nichols is the author of A Matter of Justice: Eisenhower and the Beginning of the Civil Rights Revolution. His emphasis will be on Obama’s early life and Kansas background and particularly on the book’s position on race in the era immediately following Eisenhower’s presidency.

The regular meeting of the genealogy group is scheduled for Thursday, March 4, at 1 p.m. Call the Library for further information 775-2681.
