Brown Baggers will meet on Monday, April 9, at 1 p.m. in the Community Room.   We will be discussing My Stolen Life by Jaycee Dugard .  It is the true story of the author’s experience after being kidnapped as a child and held against her will for eighteen years.

Classic Movie Matinees

Do you enjoy watching classic movies of the 1930′s,  40′s,  50′s, or 60′s?  If so, mark you calendar for the third Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m.   We are planning to show a movie in the Community Room each month with popcorn and water provided.  You are welcome to bring your own beverage if you choose (non-alcoholic, of course!)

April 17 will be our next movie.  It is a Hitchcock movie about a reformed jewel thief who is suspected of stealing jewels on the French Reviera and sets out to clear his name with the help of a pampered heiress.  It stars Cary Grant and Grace Kelly.

The Augusta Public Library Weather Closings

In the event of extreme weather conditions or other emergencies, the Library Director will determine whether the Library will close early.

The Augusta Public Library in Augusta, Kansas will automatically open at noon when USD 402 is closed for inclement weather.  If road conditions are poor and/or weather conditions persist, the Library will remain closed.  Please call 316-775-2681 to see if the Library is open.
